NAFCO Warranty

NAFCO Products are guaranteed against defects for a period of one year. This guarantee is limited to the replacement of the defective products but does not include reimbursement for labor required for removal of equipment or reinstallation costs.

Pricing

  1. Pricing is subject to change without notice.
  2. Quotations which have exceeded the expiration date will be reviewed an requoted as found necessary.

Shipping

  1. All material from NAFCO's plant is sold F.O.B.
  2. Routing will be at the discretion of NAFCO.
  3. Claims for damage and/or loss to be filed by the buyer with the carrier.
  4. Preshipment of anchor bolts for all poles is always prepaid and billed at cost.
  5. NAFCO is not responsible for shortages. If not reported within 48 hours after receipt of shipment.

Installation

  1. Luminaries must be installed immediately after pole is erected or warranty is void.
  2. NAFCO pole bases are designed to be in direct contact with the concrete foundations. Should a levelling nut be used it is imperative that the space between the base and foundation be completely filled with grout to prevent severe structural damage to the pole.
  3. Any damage caused by improper installation, overloading or alterations not acknowledged in writing to NAFCO, will result in a void in warranty.
  4. If an existing foundation is to be used, NAFCO is not responsible for the structural integrity of the anchorage of the pole. It is also the responsibility of the customer to ensure the pole being ordered will adapt to the existing footing.

NOTE: Although it is not a common occurrence, certain factors and unusual conditions can create a pole vibration problem. This situation is not an indiction of improper materials or procedures used in the manufacturing of the poles.

If vibration dampeners are not specified, NAFCO recommends that they be used for the following.

  • Parking Ramps and Decks
  • Bridge Installations
  • Airports
  • Lightly Loaded Poles
  • Known Problem Areas
  • Unusual Pole Mounting and Applications
